Transportation of animals (pets and service)

Pets can be carried on board the aircraft on all routes operated by the company, except Dublin. Animals accepted on board are only dogs and cats, in strict compliance with the conditions imposed by the company and the legislation in force.

In the passenger cabin, it is accepted to transport small live pets (dogs or cats) in special cages with a maximum size of 115 cm and a maximum total weight of 8 kg (animal + cage).

The owner is required to place the cage under the front seat for the duration of the flight. The cost for transporting a pet is EUR 50/pet/flight international segment and EUR 40/pet/flight for local segment.

! Service dogs for individuals with disabilities will be carried free of charge, in in addition to the free baggage allowance, in accordance with the carrier's regulations.

Passengers traveling with pets in the cabin must report to the airport check-in counter at least 90 minutes before take-off to complete the necessary formalities. The presentation at the check-in desk is also necessary in the situation where the online check-in was carried out or the passengers do not have checked baggage.

To travel with your pet to an EU member state, live animals must meet the following conditions:

• be at least 7 months old;

• have a microchip implanted under the skin;

• have a health card;

• the rabies vaccine must be valid, according to the legislation: http://ec.europa.eu/food/animals/pet-movement/eu-legislation/non-commercial-eu_en

• have a passport for animals, issued by the veterinarian.

The owner who is solely responsible for obtaining all the necessary permits and certificates.

The carrier does not assume liability for injury, loss, illness or death of animals, refusal of entry or transit on the territory of another state, if the damage was not caused by the negligence of the carrier. The person transporting the animal will cover all expenses, losses and liabilities imposed on the carrier.

Transportation of unaccompanied minors

HiSky accepts on its flights children unaccompanied by an adult (UMNR) under certain conditions.

An unaccompanied minor (UMNR), is considered the person who travels unaccompanied by an adult:

- aged between 5 and 18 years, if the person is a citizen of the Republic of Moldova

- aged between 5 and 12 years, if the person is a citizen of another state

An additional fee of 50 Euro/person/flight segment is paid for the transport of minors. For situations in which passengers, of a nationality other than that of the Republic of Moldova, aged between 13 and 18, request assistance at the airport, the fee for Unaccompanied Minors will be paid. Unaccompanied minors can only travel on direct flights.

Transportation of passengers with mobility impairments

Traveling can be challenging for individuals with limited mobility, and we are committed to ensuring that all our passengers have a comfortable travel experience. Our team is ready to provide people with mobility impairments with the necessary assistance according to their special needs without, extra charge.

We take it upon ourselves to fulfill all conditions necessary for the transport of any person with reduced mobility, provided that a request for special assistance is received and accepted in advance, at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure of the flight.

In the situation where the person with reduced mobility is assisted by an attendant, we will make every effort to assign adjacent seats, provided that prior notification is received at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure of the flight.

Whenever it is necessary to transport a recognized utility dog, with valid documents, it will be boarded in the cabin, with the prior notification of the company (at least 48 hours before the flight time). The passenger must assume the obligation to comply with the domestic legislation specific to the country where the destination airport is located and the applicable domestic rules regarding the transport of utility dogs on board aircraft. The transport of the companion animal will be carried out without additional charges.

If the person with reduced mobility requests (at least 48 hours before the flight time) to carry a maximum of two items of mobility equipment (including electric wheelchairs) on board, the airline will transport these without additional charges, subject to the possible limitation of space on the aircraft and the application of the relevant legal provisions in the matter of dangerous goods.
