More Flights to London and Dublin HiSky Increases Flight Frequency from Chisinau

Starting from the week of September 25th – 30th, passengers from the Republic of Moldova will be able to travel directly from Chisinau to Stanstead Airport in London every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. HiSky is increasing the frequency of flights to this destination from three to six return trips per week. The announcement regarding the increase in operations to the UK airport comes just a few days after HiSky's first flight on this route on July 22nd.

The same week of September, the company will also adjust the schedule of flights departing from Chisinau to Dublin. The number of weekly flights to the capital of Ireland thus increases from four to five, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

"Our schedule is continually evolving, taking into regard the needs of passengers who fly or want to fly with HiSky." explains Iulian Scorpan, HiSky CEO. "London is a very popular destination, so we want to offer flexibility in choosing the travel dates and, at the same time, be able to accommodate the increasing demand for this route. Basically, we offer the option of travel every day of the week, except for Tuesdays. This careful approach to our passengers' needs has helped us evolve alongside them in the past two years and reach no less than 12 international destinations from Chisinau and 24 regular routes operated from the Republic of Moldova and Romania."

The increase in flight frequency to destinations preferred by Moldovan passengers is not the only change in the operating schedule that HiSky is preparing for the fall season. Recently, the company announced the introduction, at the end of September, of three new destinations from Chisinau, namely Bucharest, Istanbul, and Dusseldorf.

Just two and a half years after launching regular flights, in 2021, HiSky already has a fleet of eight aircraft and a transport capacity of nearly 1,500 seats. The company operates flights from the Republic of Moldova and Romania to major European cities, as well as charter flights, in partnership with the most important travel agencies.

In April, HiSky celebrated its first million transported passengers, and based on the developments over the past few months, the company estimates reaching the threshold of two million passengers by the end of this summer.
