The passion for aviation, thousands of flight hours and undoubtedly rich experience in this field, determined him to set up his own airline.
Mr Scorpan graduated from Military Aviation Institute in Buzău, România; after that piloted numerous international flights as a pilot of Mixed Aviation Squadron and other profile structures.
In 2004 he joined Air Moldova company as a pilot of aircraft type A320. In one year he became flight commander.
In 2006, he became chief pilot of the aircraft A320. The same year he is named in the position of the director of the Flight Operations Department. Susequently he held the position of the deputy general manager of operational activities, later the position of interim General Director, and in february 2010 he was named in the position of General Director of Air Moldova company, having an alternate term until september 2019.
20 years experience in the fields of finance, transport, construction, etc. determined him to be one of the founders of HiSky company. He got involved in this process, ensuring fair and transparent ways of developing this business.
Previously, Mr Sula held the position of Deputy General Director of Air Moldova company, he was also the Chairman of the Management Committee of MAIB-leasing, the Financial Director of Moldpresa S.A. and LPT Constructii.
Mr Sula has also experience as senior financial analyst, based on collaboration with several US companies.
He graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies – the Finance and Credit Department and Management Department. In 2001 he defended his doctoral thesis in the field of Finance, Currency and Credit.
